The VIK offer
Kevin Davis is the Regional VIK Support Officer for the East of England. Working together with the regional members of the VIK Panel, we can offer a range of services
- Advice and guidance on how to actively involve young people in service commissioning, design and delivery;
- Guidance on meeting participation quality standards in CAMHS services, including ‘You’re Welcome’;
- Advice on the development of new projects for young people with mental health problems focusing on the vital importance of patient feedback;
- A training programme for staff focusing on understanding participation in mental health services.
We are also able to provide a range of other services, including research, and monitoring and evaluation of participation projects.
VIK in the East of England
The project is currently working with a number of service providers in the region, including Norfolk and Waveney Mental Health Trust, North Essex Partnership Trust and Hertfordshire Partnership Foundation Trust. Work has included embedding participation across services, establishing routes for young people’s voices to be heard in service design, and supporting ‘You’re Welcome’ assessments.

Hi, I would be interested to know whether you will be working in the Bedfordshire region anytime soon. Thank you.
Hi Sarah, I know that Kevin is involved in a lot of work throughout the East of England and I highly imagine there is some work happening in the Bedfordshire region. I will make sure Kevin sees your message and he will be able to give you a more precise answer!!
Take care,
