To help raise the profile of young people’s mental health issues, the work VIK do and to help tackle the stigma surrounding mental health YoungMinds works with magazines, newspapers, radio stations, and TV programmes.
To help make their news or stories more powerful they often need to speak with and interview people who actually have experience of mental health problems. This is where you can help and use your experience to help change people’s opinions.
Media opportunities will be posted on the VIK site in the Make a Difference category or emailed to you, as and when they arise. You can also keep track of media enquiries by following us on facebook or twitter. If you want to take part you just need to reply.
