My First Month of Sixth Form

Hello! I thought this post would be a good idea since we’ve officially left September and are into October already. Not only that but I know a large majority of people my age and older have started out somewhere new at either College or University, I just wanted to share my thoughts on the past month which was my first full 4 weeks at Sixth Form. This can be especially hard for people who struggle with anxiety… Every thing is so different, even more so for people used to being at High School I guess as that’s a completely different kettle of fish in comparison. For myself starting such a new experience it was really the ultimate test on my body to see how well I would cope, there have been times even in the past 4 weeks where I’ve felt a pang of nervousness at moments that are barely nerve racking situations. This time around its totally different though, because I know how to control myself a heck of a lot more than I used to be able to so everything is easier. Even if things became tough like they did 3 months into High School I would definitely persist at it 100% without a doubt because ultimately, this is my future. The first month has been really positive and I’m very happy with the subject choices that I took as they are exactly what I imagined so I had no nasty surprises along the way which was great! For those of you that don’t know, I chose English Lang/Lit, Media Studies and Photography :-)  Have you started somewhere new this September? Comment below! You can catch me on my regular blog about everything and anything here: http://thelifeofmyselfandi.blogspot.co.uk/ thank you for reading! x
