Adult services are nothing to fear they can seem a bit daunting when the thought is put out there but from my experience there is more scope at times available with adult services as 16-17 for me anyway and im only go back to 2007-2008 was a bit of a black hole with consultants in CAMHS refusing to treat me and others aged 16-17 because we weren't adults but adult services unwilling to as I was still a child.
My transition was a little indifferent as it never actually occurred until a month of so before.my 19th birthday which posed a number of issues, but it's good that there initiating the process for you now and hopefully the transition will be as smooth as possible and you will find as much help from adult services as possible they arent all that scary
