The social issue, an online blog about people, places and projects has celebrated World Mental Health day with a post from two mental health campaigners – Loz Butterfield and our very own Carrie Holroyd!
Carries wish list for better young peoples mental health is well worth a look, covering points like the need for more support in schools, improving access to talking therapies, and the need for better transitions between CAMHS and AMHS. In the post, Carrie also says ‘I’d like to see people ‘open up’ about mental health problems. Don’t be so afraid to talk about it, it’s not as scary as the media can make out.’
